I'm trying to find out what you'd need to do to a standard Suzuki Jimny to make it end up like this basically:

http://search.autotr...mp;max_mileage=

In more detail: me and my dad are looking for a Jimny, and i was wondering how much it'd likely cost to get the suspension lifted to fit some big wheels on, and to have a bar put on the front?

Would i be able to take it to a garage to have the suspension highered, or would i need to buy some parts for them to do so?

:) any help would be brilliant!

swamp monster appreciation is down the hall - you cant miss it, all the red-necks wearing land rover tee-shirts. :)

Yeah i drive a mini :)

was just trying to find some stuff out for my dad really.

i tried joining the suzuki jimny forums but the site wasn't working properly.. so i thought i'd give this forum a go, hoping someone may know somebody with a similiar type 4x4 and what the modifications are like to deal with.

no.

sorry.

Not my cup of tea. coffee, or even luke warm milk to be honest.

Genuinely, you really are in the wrong place. good luck with your project but go to off-roading.com or something else 4WD orientated. :)

Can't tell you much about them, but the same principle applies for all modified cars...

99% of the time, it is cheaper to buy one ready modified than do the modifications yourself (unless of course you want the pleasure of doing it, but from your post it seems like you are looking at getting a garage to do it anyway).
