How hard is it to change an exhaust on a Peugeot 306? it would be swapping an old standard for a new one, not a performance one or anything
Thanks

Pretty easy to be honest. The backbox is on a nice easy clamp, so won't even be rusted on. IIRC the front is ona flange, so you will be best off getting a new gasket.
Is it a derv or a petrol?

Its a petrol, that make it easier? Hoping to do this for a friend so dont want it to be hard and then not be able to change it after getting the old one off. Would you be able to do it just jacking the back end up with axle stands?

I changed mine with one side of the car on wheel ramps.
Being a petrol *tries to think when 306's came out* it'll have a cat. If you're changing just the backbox, it's well easy, but I'd make sure you get a new clamp as they tend to fall apart. If you're also changing the cetre pipe, you will have to undo two nuts/bolts to remove it from the flange on the cat. For this, get a new gasket and some assembly paste.
