I say now I have not searched, but I am currently naked and only have 10 mins of lunch left so ... meh.
Anywho, El Odio the 1976 Hornet with the A+ engine has a problem.
She will not heat up. At all, ever.
I put a new BIG pump on but with a smaller puller (bigger one fouled on head) and now the temp barely gets off C on the temp gauge. Most I've had is about a 1/3 up from C to N.
Got no bypass so I added a few 3mm holes to the thermostat (4 to be exact) but the car will not heat up properly.
Any ideas?

Normally modification or removal of the thermostat causes the engine to run cooler. Have you checked all the heater piping for leaks etc,

Wait for the summer and try it again.

When the 'stat is opens water will run through it and warm it up pretty rapidly. If it gets gradually warmer from the moment you fire him up the stat is likely stuck open or you went OTT with the hole making (I doubt it). If your heater feels like a blast freezer flush the matrix and remove the crud on the air side, again feel the hoses to see if water is circulating.

As for block/pipe temps. Hot on the nipple thats about it (had to twiddle with the carb, laid on engine, hot nipple) and the heater puffs out warm air but not hot. You can grab the heater pipes and their warm more than hot.
