Was working on my car today, just got it back from bodyshop.. worse than it went in, lol. but anyway..


Some guy drove past and spotted my bulkhead box, then drove past again and pulled into my carpark. Got talking to him and from what was said he's just gone stark raving mad and has given up on minis completely. He used to own a mini garage up in M-Keynes selling up and he's moved local to me.

Low and behold, it turns out he is jesus my saviour (as a figure of speach) and offers me a new head from a 1430 Turbo he built.

Its in the stage 4 flavour, already modified for direct port NOS and enlarged chambers for higher boost,Full rollertip rockers, for £30. :saywhat:

Well thats mine!!

Not too sure tho, as he has a Hybrid turbo with a bigger compressor and smaller exhaust chamber, similar to a T4 :cheese:

Hey, I'm liking CB's suggestion. But anyway, enough of hijacking threads again (I should be called the Highwayman!!), go back to how much of a jammy git mighty_mini is for getting that head!!

the situation stands that he came round friday and i was at work..so muva didnt have the money to pay him, he said he's gonna pop round sometime in the week to bring it back. once i get it, ill get pics up.

well its arrved today.

the head is pretty cool, altho im gonna check out the chambers cc's as it seems a little shallower than normal.hope it aint been skimmed too much.

the manifold face has been skimmed down to give the fuel/air mis less dist to travel and the porting is amasing! will get pics up pretty soon. should be getting the hybrid turbo next week sometime....

As for the rollers they look like the titan full 1.5 rollers with purple rockers and a gold shaft. well happy. got some new pushrods with it too


overall, £30 well spent today.....
