Hey all,

Just a quick question. My 1293 is in a few pieces at the moment, and although I planned on keeping the final drive the same, if I was going to do it now is the time.

The engine spec is;

1293cc
11 stud stage 3 head
1.5 roller rockers (purple)
649 Cam
Straight cut drops
Magnetronic electronic ignition
HIF 44
Oselli inlet manifold
Ultralight pre verto flywheel
orange clutch

And has a 3.7 diff..

Whats the recommended diff to go for?

Ta

totally depends on what you want to use the car for.... if it's a daily driver/motorway then consider anything from 2.9 through to 3.4..

If you want 'off the line' reaction and pickup then 3.2,3.4 or maybe 3.6

If you're after full on acceleration, and don't really give a monkeys about running down the motorway @ 4k+ RPM then 3.6 upwards...
