secondly i have an issue with the drivers side door post, (not the actal post) the bit that the door seal attaches too under the dash rail is rotten and theres nown there, this picture will explain it better but iv looked on loads of mini spares sites and i dont know which bit i need or if you can even get them?
heres the pic, only 1 i could find with the panel im on about,
this is not my mini by the way. its the drivers side on mine too........
the shading is where its rotten
its strange its as if its the inner part of the a post, its not where the door attaches.
Cheers Dan

I can't seem to find that panel anywhere, although I imagine it would be easy to make it out of sheet steel.

The A-post boxing plate is this panel http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=33207
If you need to identify any panels the PDF body panel catalogue on Somerford's site is really helpful - it can be found here: http://www.somerford...ody-panels.html

There is no reason you can't swap the front panel whilst leaving the wings in place - just cut down the seam on the front panel side, along the bottom of the headlamp aperture and the front edge of the inner wings.

Yes - the panel I linked to is the N/S - this is the O/S: http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=32838 although unfortunately Minispares are showing it as out of stock at the moment - might be worth ringing them for an estimated delivery date, or ring round some of the other suppliers with the part number,
