Hi we are now official mini owners and I felt I should prob introduce myself. I am Matt w from Bognor Regis and brought a mini for the miss's today! Its an awesome stage one 998, mini 30, with a flip paint finish. This forum confirmed the fact that we wanted a mini and helped me to choose, what I hope, is the right one! Cheers Guys.

I am not too sure about the bonnet but I really like the paint!! I am really worried about getting scratched though- there is no way I can get a touch up stick from Halfords! Cheers for the welcome.

Stunning paint.. Not 100% sure about the bonnet.. depends what style you want.. I would leave it though, as you never see them, and makes it stand out.

Whats it like to drive being 6.7ft? I am bang on 6ft and i am fine with loads of room!

I only drove it around the block to test drive it- I really dont fit yet! I have got to get some seat extensions. Also size 14 feet make it hard to choose just one pedal at a time! Really have caught the bug- keep lookng out the window and seeing our Mini! Cheers for the warm welcome

getting out of the mini is dead easy but getting in is like putting toothpaste back into the tube!!!!
