Howdy all,
Found this forum through a Yahoo search, and thought I'd drop a note to say hello.
I'm a brother from another Mother, here in the Midwestern region of the US, and an active member of our local British Car Club of Wichita. We have over 120 members, meet monthly, and do all sorts of Funkhanna driving challenges, car shows, benefits for worthy causes, like the Children's Miracle Network, etc. When I joined, the predominate marque was MGBs, and I was the only Mini guy in the group. Now, I think we're taking over, which I'd like to take a little credit for, although I love all Brit cars.
Good meeting you all, and if you're ever in the Midwestern part of the US, or attending a major Mini Meet over here, drop me a line, and perhaps we'll meet up.

by the way, Our group is planning to come to England in 09 to share in the Mini celebrations, and in accord, we're looking for info on what all events are going on, and suggestions as to which to attend, along with dates, so we can plan our trip. Any suggestions you can provide will be appreciated.

Hi..There minmax and welcome to TMF and I think the biggest mini event will be mini's 50th celibrations in August 09 and its usally held at Silverstone race circut..................just awaiting confirmatoin of date ............................
