I Usually don't like Sony for Car Audio but was looking for a pair of 4"s to incorporate into the build of my new dash and came accross these. Sony XS HS4:

Product Description »

4" (10cm ) Mid-High Speaker
300W Max Power
Strontium Ferrite Magnet
Aluminium Diaphragm
Aluminium Frame
Nickel-Plated Terminals

Hadn't done any research into them etc, but upon looking them over seemed like a good deal, so I picked them up.

There arent' any reveiws when I did a google search so I thought I'd ask here what people thought, know about these little mids.

thanks.

they're some sweet speakers. and have an aluminum ring around with sony engrave and the wire speaker cover built right in. They'll look perfectly fitting in my dash.

I'm just trying to decide if I want to box them into the dash or leave them free air.

I might make the dash is three parts now. With the speakers and guages seperate as I don't want to rattle the C**p out of everything.

I checked on sounddomain.com and another ICE forum and through the search function couldn't find anything. Oh well judgeing by spec I'm sure they'll sound great.
