As much as i agree the Italian Job spot lights look great i do believe that they are illegal as spot's have to be arranged in pairs this is why the italian job cars from the factory came out as standard with 4 spots....

yeah i do believe having 3 isnt legal, but 2 or 4 is... not sure if this applies to certain registrations or anything, but i've heard of it

as you will notice on oli8925's post that the top light is beneath the main two headlamps. this is because that any fog or spot lamp has to be beneath the two headlamps

I have been double checking this as far as i am aware i am not wrong (please feel free to correct me)
on any car with four wheels no more than 2 spots and 2 fogs are permitted after production date 1st april 1991 the maximum height of both of these is to be no more than 1200mm off the ground so it is posible to sit one on top of the other where as the main beam head lamps can sit no more than 1500mm and no less, technically according to thses rules no fog or spot can sit above the main beam headlight.
