Hi,

Just bought a new car ('02 astra 1.6sxi) and the only problem (so far) is the passenger interior door handle doesn't work. Anyone know a likely cause of this, and also how to remove the door card without damaging it!?

Or should I just put it into a garage and let them sort it?

Thanks

Simon

iirc, there are screws in the door handle, and a couple round the frame its self. also you will need a trim tool to un-clip the clips holding the door card to the door. not 100% on this as its been a while since i have done one in work!

Front or rear?

electric window??

If its manual winder you'll need a tool to get the handle off.
Then there various screws hidden behind little caps.
Then pull carefully but sharply and the popperscome out.

Electric windows. Cheers though, did it this morning and came off relatively easily. And it had a broken window recently and the wire just hadn't been reconnected since then so an easy fix.
