Hi, i have a 1975 mk2 shell,Can anyone tell me if mk3 doors fit or do i have to get older mk1 or 2 doors?

HI If your mini is a 1975 car then it will be a mk3 shell unless it has been reshelled at sometime into a mk 1/ 2 shell

if they are external no

Any post mk1 doors will fit.

No I did mean mk1's, I had forgotten about the mk2's.

I don't know why you bother to say "this is my opinion and will differ from others". The forum is all about differing opinions and ideas, that's what makes it interesting. It is especially pointless when you are blatantly right, as in this particular case.

So to reiterate, any post mk2 doors will fit! Mk1 and 2 doors have exterior hinges, plus the door shape is different.

calm down pete, i always, when i remember put this is my opinion and will differ from others so as not to start an argument, i have posted many times on many forums and some one will always say i am wrong.

Fair enough, but I've never read anything you have written that is incorrect, in fact going by comments you have made in the past you seem to be far more experienced in the area than anyone else here. I wouldn't worry about starting arguments, it's all about learning and anyone with their head screwed on will realise what is right and what is wrong.
