Its alot more than what a say 50 year old would pay - But mine costs me £680 with all mods declared. Nearest i got to that with normal insurance was £1200 with no mods!

Its much cheaper than normal insurance whatever your age i'd say!

The disadvantage being with classic insurance is that you don't accrue any no claims bonus.

aye i'll be paying the price in the future. Its only for the first couple of years of driving anyway - Only insurance i can afford at my age.

However i've heard that you can get a letter from the insurance company confirming the number years of claim free driving you've had. So in a way you do earn no claims - Not sure how much discount you'd get though...

i have a 1997 mini 1.3i and i insured it for £1800 third party fire and theft. im 17 and insured the car the day i got my licence and thats with no mods or anything. if i wante dan insurer who would let me mod my car i would be looking at £2300 and thats with out the extra charge of modding it

my insurer is kwick fit

thats me on my own policy. just to let you knwo you can go on someone elses insurence under named driver but it is illegal if you drive the car more than the main driver and if they cna prove it when you crash no pay out

Mines only a 998 city e - But it has got loads of mods and there all declared.
