Morspeed ph3 is a reprofiled Kent 276, his ph2 is a reprofiled 266.

SW5 is a complete master peice from Swiftune there selves

Another vote for the SW5 - great for torque, no problems with emissions come MOT time, smooth idle, etc.

I have my SW5-07 duplex kit arriving sometime this week i hope, but i have heard rumours of swiftune saying that the SW5 isn't much of an improvement over the mg metro camshaft >_<

But theres no reason why we should see a unrepresentative view of people who've used it. Plus I wasn't just talking about reviews I've read on this site! >_< There are a couple of other large/technical forums out there that I frequent.

The SW5 generally shows good results in a wide variety of applications. There maybe better camshafts out there for each specific application, but you can't go far wrong with the SW5.

Well Swiftune SW5 goes like S**t off a shovel in my 1380 plenty orque as you say......................and the closest cam to it was the old 731 profile ................... >_<

OK

Some people (won't name names >_< ) are not that positive about the SW5.
I heard a lot of good thing about it, and since I only have experience with the original camshaft, I don't know which to choose.

I will surely go for the enitre Hi-Lift kit. Camshaft, Rockers, Cam followers, Duplex Vernier Timing set.
Swiftune has got it all in a package for a nice price.

Anyone who prefers Kent or Piper??

And some powerplots with the difference in original and uprated camshaft would be grate off course :o

if you want a good useable road cam something based around the 970 cam profile is a good choice

so here is a small list of them:

Swift tune sw5 avalible from swift tune
246 availble from kent cams
450 availble from kent cams (Little bit more sporty then the other two)
MD274SP availble from kent cams
567 availble from kent cams
948 availble from kent cams
MD256 availble from kent cams

rougly in the ball park. id personally get the 246 or the 450 if it was for a daily driver lots of trafic ect, as you will get the tractability that the sw5 gives you but youll also get abit more bang....
