Take out the locking strip (locking strip being the chrome bead looking thing, in the middle of the seal) Then peel back the edge of the seal from the glass revealing the edge of the glass.
Keep going around that edge teasing the window past the seal as you go. Be very careful what you use to lever the window past the seal (if you can get someone to push from the inside, this would be better) It can also help if you start at two differunt places, and meet up, so your not pushing on one spot all the time.
Fairy liquid squirted in to the rubber as you go also helps abit.
Failing that, take a stanley knife to the rubber and just cut around it lol! s'what I did but then im replacing all my window rubbers in my restoration.
Mmmm... this reminds me, tinting my windows is another thing I can do now (putting off thinking about that dam rusty shell as long as I can lol!)
A word of warning... taking it out is the easy part!

HI to take the glass out you have to take out the center strip first then get an assistant inside and push the glass out with steady
pressure at the top corner while you ease the rubber lip over and off the glass work back along the top to the other corner then
down the edges and the window should just pull out.
To put the glass back in( it will be easier with a new rubber as the old one goes hard with age) put seal on the screen surround push screen into the
bottom of the seal get a round handled spoon or similar and push the glass back into the seal at the same time use the spoon to bring the lip of the
seal over the glass when this is done the fun starts in getting the insert in, get yourself a special tool from frost. (get the one with the roller on it)
lubricate the seal with rubber grease and insert the strip. Now clean up. P.S. I have done it without the special tool with srewdrivers spoons etc.
but it makes it very very difficult and you risk slipping and damaging your paintwork.I put mine in last saturday useing this method GOODLUCK
sorry G.T.M. you beat me to it while typing up
