I get about 35mpg on a bad day. Up to about 45mpg on a long run at 60mph. Something is clearly wrong, you should take it to a garage to have the ECU diagnosed or possibly a rolling road.

Change the DTM to a RC40 1.75" bore - fuel ecomony and power will be restored.

on a mixed run, i'll get about 35-37mpg.
on a purely motorway run, i'll get 40mpg
on a city run (and that city is london,) it drops down to about 22mpg
i've got a fuel consumption spreadsheet going at the moment, so it's up to date figures

Hi David,
I've got a 1293 Spi and when I was using it to travel down to Luton every day (80 miles round trip) I'd have to fill up at home just in case there was not enought fuel for another round trip, I'd put in around £9, I think the tank holds about £18-19 it works out to about 40 mpg which doesn't sound too bad when you think about it. my driving style is a little on the lead foot side.

Don't mind me, everybody!
I just thought I'd post the conversions for those (like me) who travel kilometres and use litres.
22mpg = 7.75km/L = 12.91L/100km
35mpg = 12.32km/L = 8.11L/100km
40mpg = 14.08km/L = 7.10L/100km
As you were.

I have a twin dtm exhaust on my 95 spi cooper. MPG is about 30 and maybe 35 on a motorway run. Diagnostics it is!
