Well, today has been a good day for me, we was talking yesterday at the engineering b-tec diploma i do about the Hpi baja 5bss kit you have to build yourself and said it would be good to do. The teacher said we could persuade the 'Boss' if he could get us one to do in our own time after the course,
So... when we went in today he said

"i hear you want me to get a Rc kit" lol, so we said, well yer we thought it would be good to do as a project for the course.

Then he said "well its not upto me really so persuade tony (guy who runs the workshop) to see if he buy you one".
Bearing in mind these things are about Â£650 each (without radio gear)

So we did, well, he said you cant race against yourself can you so we'll get two.

I couldn't beleive it, i still cant now! the kit doesn't even include the radio gear (servo's,transmitter Ect..)

So were getting that aswell.

And we are going to try and persuade the head to lend us a bit of the field to tear up, lol.

Im looking forward to it when we get them!

We'll be able to machine bits on the CNC Machine there when the workshops are done in easter

Haha how lucky are you.

My mate owns a model shop and he had one of them and a couple of his costomers and we used to go over the woods and that with them. had some great fun with them.
