Where if the best place to order door step repair panel?

Reason I ask is I ordered some non genuine "maxnum" ones from minispares and they are rubbish! They arn't even straight, none of the edges come even close to matching whats on the car!

I have considered getting genuine door step and a post panels but they are too dear at £50 each, D'oh!

Any suggestions?

There's also a genuine door step profile available (or it used to be available but Minispares are showing out of stock at the moment). Part number is BHM13 and is less than £20 - we used one to replace a section of step about 50cm long on my Dad's Cooper last year when we replaced half the floor & it fitted perfectly aligning with the profile of the step. Might be worth having a ring round to see if Minispares are getting more in or if any of the other suppliers (Somerford, etc.) have any.

I think I ordered the same panel and completely agree with you about the poor quality fit. I think I ended up buying a panel off eBay which was brilliant! I'll try and get you a link if they're still selling them.

Here you go

Seem to be a good company, used them several times, price is right too!

Only thing is, I actually replaced the whole door step on mine rather than piece a bit in but it was a MUCH better shape than the repair section

Thanks guys for the replies. I'll give minispares a ring this week and failing that I'll buy the ebay ones!

Cheers

The ebay one looks the same as a Hadrian one I used, which interestingly was just a re-stickered magnum panel O_O
