Evening peeple. I have rover 220 seats to fit in both of my minis, they are uber comfy, seem to be the right dimensions and look great. I've seen them fitted to quite a few minis, anyone got pics or descriptions of how they did it? subframe ideas etc would be gratefully received!

I have no idea about these seats! But any chance of a picture of the base? to see what you have to work with really as will most likely need a custom frame!

I had them in my first mini, super comfy seats at a great price. There was a good guide on mf before it died.

Ive got them in mine ii have made up two l piece sections for the front and played around and have managed to use the original holes on the cross member to bolt into. I also had to remove the brackets fixed to the slider on the front of the seat used grinder left with the holes to bolt to the l piece. Rear sections are same really bolt to l piece and then bolted through floor works well for me. Hope this is clear enough for you

I've got these seats in my mini. I found if I swapped them over so that the recline controls were in the middle I was able to mount them much further backwards. For the front I made up some brackets out of some scrap metal and fixed them to the cross member with a bolt going all the way through. The backs are easier with an L 2 shape brackets bolted to the floor.

Ah now that's a good idea, I want them as far back as poss, as I'm a bit of a lanky b@stard. I have 2 tomcat seats, and 2 metro Gti seats, the latter look exactly the same, just different material, but the base is less complicated. Globule I'll try and get a pic of the base tomorrow.

Cheers guys!

Here's the pics, they are exactly the same, apart from the base of the tomcat is very bulky and complicated! I'll probably remove the base mechanism and try to source a gti one as they seem to be a straight swap.
