Just sold off some JC Garages bits from my project car that were being replaced anyway and made some good money for what they are. Now my plans for this car have escalated a bit since I bought it and whilst I have money to spare I have hit a dilema:-

Namley my JC Leather (recaros) - whilst I love the look of them and they are rare as rocking horse poo and worth quite a few pub points I am not sure if i get along with them. SOmetimes they feel great and super comfy and others a bit narrow at the shoulders, I cannot make my mind up!

So here are the questions

1 Do I flog them?
2. How much (Seriously please!!!!) do you think there worth. Its a full set with matching rears in good used condition.
3. What do i replace them with? (please bear in mind I am doing a retro/mk1 lookalike Spi) so headrest a must, modern buckets wont suit etc etc.

Thanks for reading my inain rambling and i look forward to your well reasoned and educated replies

There was someone on the forum looking for a set of these recently. Going by the the look you're after, I'd have said they're ideal! lowback buckets would be even better, but they look stupid with headrests.

I know I am in two minds, they are aesthtically perfect but its just this narrowness across the shoulders that I am struggling with. Maybe I should give them time.

I do like classic buckets but like you say they dont look the same with headrests. Any suggestions as to the best looking Cobra's, Corbeau Alpines?

Well it looks as if I have secured a pair of Cobra Classics with matching rear from Captain Cabinet for a pretty good price, so I may just put the JCG seats into storage for the time being as I dont need to raise funds for anything else at the current time. And if I find the Cobras a pain I can swap them back. Dilema over hopefully. >_<

I would be seriously interesting in buying the Recaros from you and could collect easily. I'll pay a sensible price for them as they are exactly what I am after.

Please give me first refusal if you decide to sell.
