I am an industrial energy consultant and in the last year I have helped companies save over a million pounds in energy costs.
On average each company has saved over 23%.
I need to expand my portfolio of work and can will do FREE energy surveys to any company that spends over £50K a year on energy.
It doesnt matter what the business does - in fact the more varied the better!
If anyone works somwhere they think may benefit then let me know via PM.
oh and did I mention its FREE

I think you should pay for advertising like this - its bad enough we get hundreds of phone calls about this, now even the sanctuary of the forum has been invaded.

sorry if it sounded a bit harsh but currently we are being swamped by 'energy consultants' offering free surveys which turn out to be thinly veiled attempts to get you to switch energy supplier, or invest in building insulation - its all basically a way to make money out of you and the 'reps' sometimes just wont take no for an answer.
we gave 2 the chance to see what it was all about, as soon as we realised what it was we turfed them out.

I can fully understand Roofless's feelings, many other people will feel exactly the same.
Energy is suddenly all over the news and is used as a sales tool. >
Hopefully this will ease the concerns.
I am degree educated and my skills were originally accredited by the Energy Institute (of which I am a member).
I am vetted to ensure I have no links with equipment manufactururers, suppliers or contractors.
I carry £1million pounds worth of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
75% of the recommendations I make are NO cost. The remaining have payback periods of less than 3 years.
There is no cost AT ALL to the company - the reports I come up with are sponsored by The Carbon Trust and it is they that pay my travel expenses (receipted) or give me a milage allowance.
The reports are given to the company with absolutely NO obligation of any kind.
The aim is to find ways of cutting energy use for the company.
out of this I get experience of more industrial sectors / technologies so that I can build my expertise. This is essential for the career path I wish to follow.
I hope this may have cleared things up. and once again apolgies if this topic has P****D any one off.
