Hi guys im looking at getting the minilite deep dish rims.
I really like the look of them and i was telling my mate about the 13x7s and he has a celica 1970 model and he has got custom 15x7s on the rear and they barely fit. He thinks that if im putting 7s on my car they will b impossible to fit or just too hard to be worth it.
Also he rekons finding rubber for a 13x7 would just b too hard to find and really expensive if u did find some?

What are peoples views on this? Does anyone have pics of theres with 13x6 or 13x7s???

Thanks guys!

So is it 13 factor or the 7 factor ? that is a problem?
Do you think going 13x6 would still have the same problems??
How wide are your 12s? and have you rolled your guards?
Thanks adam

If you have standard inner aches, 13x6 wheels will rub.

7x13s are not too hard to fit really, infact no more difficult that fitting 6x13s, it's just you'll need to do a few more body mods to the front wings, both will need wider arches fitted too.

As for tyres, these are readily available for 7" wheels.

having said all that, 6s are the better choice for all round use.

I'm running 13x8 on mine, as above had to modify the front wings a bit for clearance, i'm running 175/50/13 tyrtes on them which are the same size you'd run on 6j & a 7j rim, they are readily available and are normally £50 a tyre at shows you can usually pick them up for £150 for a set of 4 tyres.

I'm also running a 10" steering wheel which i don't find too bad with the 13x8's.

Simply stating that 13x6 wheels willrub on the standard inner arch is incorrect! It all depends what wheel you buy, what year the car is and whether the subframe mounts and suspension bushes are in good order

I have 13x6 wheels and they do not rub on the inner arch on full lock and rack limiters are not fitted.

There will be nothing different between a 12x6 wheel and a 13x6 wheel with the same offset. Its the offset that mostly makes the difference. Deep dish 12x6s are just as bad as the 13x7s

I recommend you look at the factory fit options, as those wheels were specificaly designed to fit the Mini without any detrimental effects to handling
