...so I'm discussing with my mates at work today what will fit in the boot of a Mini. Does anyone happen to know how deep the mini boot is - from the bottom boot cover lip on the body, to the seat back bulhead?
It may win me $20 and a few pints, so make it speedy!

It's as deep as your spare wheel surely? About 20inches

Figured about that - 20" would be too small to win me my bet though, that a certain piece of luggage at a depth of 22 inches willl fit...

You may have been overly optimistic I have a suitcase that I recall was a near perfect fit, it measures 28x16x8 inches - the things I do for TMF
