i like it...might leave it for now then at least gonna get a couple of rust spots sorted first then maybe change coil at a later date, its not running too bad anyway just a friend of mine who has a metro turbo with same A series engine suggested changing it to get better economy. I just didnt think to ask which one to get! thanks anyway

Ouster is on the ball, spend your money on converting the dizzy to electronic for a proper improvement of your iggy system.
this expensive/big job? what is benefit? sorry for all questions just i dont have a clue! lol

So, the electronic ignition allows new, wider settings of the spark plug gaps that can now benefit from having a coil capable of delivering more voltage. With a standard set of points, you're not likely to notice any change in the performance of your engine after fitting a performance coil.

Question- Has anyone got a miniwith a Capacitor Discharge System , i've just wrote a Uni report on this for my Motorsport Degree, just wondering as it;'s a very powerful system.
