Heel-Toe is really easy when you're 6'6" with size 13 feet! :dontgetit: I do it in all cars but especially the min.

Yess! You mean you've actually found an advantage of having huge feet? Woohoo! :P

I'll get my 14s on the case. Guess I probably shouldn't start messing about with heel-toe and double de-clutching in my Mum's car though :xxx: Bad enough trying to get it into 2nd in the first place.

not so much toe 'n heel as big toe little toe methinks!

I have to take issue with Jammy (well I don't really but a bit of a barny always keeps a thread moving along  ) - toe 'n heel is just a refinement of double declutching. Why would you toe & heel without double declutching?

I double declutch and heel and toe everywhere, even if I'm just pootling around in traffic. Sounds magnificent with the K&N at low revs in traffic, and when I'm pulling up somewhere lol. Sounds even better at high revs downshifting, when the exhaust starts singing aswell hehe

Its all about the noise baby!

Technically you don't need to be double de-clutching to use heel and toe. You may just prefer to use on foot when a perfectly good left foot is there

But seriously, heel and toe is just a method of operating 3 pedals with 2 feet. You can use it when double de-clutching while braking, or you may just want to blip the throttle while braking and downshifting.

Both operations are very similar, just one involves [brake] shift to neutral, pivot heel to press throttle, clutch in, select gear, clutch out [/brake] and the other is [brake] clutch in, pivot heel to blip throttle, select gear, clutch out [/brake]

Thats drifting, something different really. The idea to unsettle the car into oversteer for as long as possible.
