Actually, does anyone know of a good forum to flog this on?

Great site, although quite sarcastic lol. Make sure you post it in the classifieds or they will shoot you down fast.
Nice rocco by the way, got a Golf mk2 GTI myself

I must have had 20 people ask me about buying this, either on here or on Facebook, as soon as I message them back, nothing. IS it really an expensive car for what it is?
I'm taking it to the local VeeDub specialist tomorrow, I'd be happy to take £300 for it. Such a shame it aint going straight to an enthusiast. He's going to stick it in his shed (apparently) and wait for it to gain value. He's "banking it for a few years". Last time he saw it, he said he'd not seen one with a body as solid as this one for a good few years, but never mind, he'll be getting a bargain!
It's got to go before I go mad with it. I have been soooooooooooo tempted to drop a different lump in it, strip the interior out, drop it on coilovers and some old deep dish BBS wheels. I just need to be sensible and get a "family car" instead.
If anyone is genuinely interested in buying this cheap, retro motor, PM me or ring me on 07791 153035. It's got to go by the end of this week as I already have my next car lined up.

Have you tried putting it on pistonheads.comWell, I can honestly say that I've never had so many folks interested in a car I'm selling...........without anyone actually bothering to follow up on their initial mails/messages!

I guess I could put a 12 month ticket on it to flog it, but I really don't have the time this week.
