Hi,

I am about to put my mini on 10's with 165/70x10 tyres and am also going to change the speedo (centre binnacle) for a new 130 mph one. The engine is a 1275 Spi engine I converted to carb so can I assume that

The FD ratio is 3.211:1 ?

The new speedos are 1280 TPM?

I need a 6/16 speedo/worm drive to make the speedo read accurately?

I have a spare box from a '92 auto -but what will the FD of that be (2.76:1?)-are they different to the manual ones (3.44:1?)as I was going to rob it of its speedo drive gears assuming that is what I need!!

Any pointers appreciated,
