Hey, tried fitting my chrome strip to my grp 2 arches today, flipping impossible!!! They're the fluted type and they just won't follow the arch without kinking!! we tried a hot air gun and boiling water but no help

are you puring the hot water over it as your bending it around the arch ?

well we tried the hot air gun whilst bending it and the water, but it just didn't want to bend without making ugly kinks in it

could it be because it's the fluted type?

nah use a hair dyer mate
it like turns really bendy and when it cools it stay like it

I use a hot air gun, heat it as you apply it, but be careful not to melt it. I did it like this to fit to my grp 2's, worked perfect, no kinks.

when my dad had minis (hes had 20) he just put it in hot water them put it on. but apprently it kinked once or twice, so thats no help but anyway good luck

ahh damn, tried all these things and the damn thing just kinked every few inches, looked terrible will have another go sometime
