In the plenium chamber there is an existing dump valve sping. My question is when you put a modified dump valve on, on the side of the plenium chamber do you take the one inside out??
Any info guys would be much apprieciated

The spring in the plenum is actually a blow-off/overboost protection valve. It opens around 10psi to stop the engine overboosting, if the actuator sticks or the pipe splits etc.
If you don't plan on running anymore than the standard 7psi or so, then it may be worth leaving it in place as a safety device. If you plan on running higher boost, then obviously remove & block it.
Either way a dump valve will still work.
