hi thnks for that its for a project im ordering all me pannels next week and needed the wheels so set up the front fings (cuting away ) n yes they are sport back ive measered them with a tapemesure and they ar 7" and i kni from moss-europe.co.uk you have an option with the 6" or 7" thnks enyways benare they sportspack wheels,if so they were only made 13inch by6 not 7???. will be alot easier for you to cut metal away rather than replace wings e.t.c unless thats what you plan to do anyway! as for the rear arch it all depends on your suspension set up,might be worth getting some hi-los fitted in addition to adjustable dampers just to give you more options to play with.

Regarding the rear wheel arch, if your cars rear suspension is tired and worn, they may catch the top of the arches.
Regarding catching the shock absorbers, Im not sure as I think they fitted the cars with those wheels with spacers or spacer drums, so it is possible?
Worst case scenario, you will need to fit spacered drums and hi-lo's.

when you do the cutting dont forget to role the arch slightly to stop the tyre from being cut if you dont take egnuff out or if the shocks arnt to good.
role the arch>.... you mean Roll, right?... in which case, for those of you who don't know what rolling is,... put the arch lip back on once the arch has been cut,... you can cut slits and bend the the metal outwards to create the lip that was originally there, More than anything else this is to give the Panel it's rigidity back. If it's in danger of cutting the tyre, you haven't taken enough out.
Also,... Please try to use punctuation etc properly, it makes reading and understand posts so so much easier for everyone. which essentially leads to probelms being solved faster

ive got a Austin mini HL on a X reg 1982, its un modified
i take it you have drum brakes
this means your trace is 2 inches narrower that a disk braked mini and might be why the wheels are hitting the inner arch
fitting a inch spacer or the later spacer type drums might help
