just been having a really good chat with a guy in my work about good and bad adverts on TV at the moment and it got me thinking.... whats the best and worst out there?.... recent and old....

at present moment these are mine!

Best

Honda advert - the rubix cube one, the choir one, and the "knocking over things one after another" one
Audi R8 advert - with the beep beep song

Worst

The pemier travel inn with lenny henry "the only thing small, is the price!".....RUBBISH!

The "u-switch" advert with that jazzy singer in the glittery suit!

The worst at the mo which really riles me is the Sugar Puffs advert, it's just not right!

Have to agree with PMC on the Honda ad, its pretty cool

As for the worst, well its not exactly an ad, it the bit they show before and after the ad breaks on The Jeremy Kyle Show (for those who watch it) . That Foxy Bingo thing, god that creature annoys me with his clickity click and Burlington Bertie sayings, If I had my way i'd set the bloodhounds on him.

Any of the Guinness ads past and present, same with Stella Artois...
Honda adverts
First ad for the Audi R8 - love it!!
I always chuckle at the Teletext holidays adverts (with the cats) at the moment.... They've managed to make so many that I don't think I've seen the same one twice yet


Worst: Has to be the new Cadbury's Flake Ad with Joss Stone.............. What was she thinking....??! It's as painful as scratching a chalk board with your nails........
Agree with the Lenny Henry one and the recent Halifax ads!!

All Honda adverts.
The Skoda one where they make a car in a bakery.
The Guinness advert in Mexico where thing fall onto each other to make the books flop down and make a pint of Guinness, (you'll know it if you have seen it)
The Carling evolution advert.


Worst
All price comparison site adverts, (They are all just rubbish and the same as each other)
The Smirnoff advert where all the ships and planes come out of the sea)
The McCain chips advert (zero percent fat, no percent fat!!) that one.
All Halifax ones, they are just soo annoying.

The worst for me is that Megane 'everything sport' one. Would you drive a car where all the bits and pieces were just thrown at it?

You have to like the simply be advert as its got a mini in it, but other than that its annoying, already seen it 4 times today!
