Hi,

Have just bought an engine splashguard and fitting kit - it came with 3 different brackets and lots of little plastic clips etc.!

Now wandering how I actually go about fitting it! I have a 1984 998cc engine in there which is standard other than a sports air filter fitted - as far as I know its all standard just lots of new bits fitted to replace the old ones!

Anyone know? :)

J

If it's the standard jobie, then there will be two brackets which fit under the rocker cover bolts and hang forward, and the third ( a sort of L shape ) attaches to two of the gearbox to engine bolts at the front center

Although, a lot of people don't use the bottom bracket as it's a pain. Just kind of tuck the guard under and it'll stay secure if the two top mounts are used.
