Just wondering if anyone has fitted one of thses to a mini, do you think it'd look stupid... or awesome! Seen some on ebay for around $250 they seem to go for a lot of moola!

If it did I'd buy two!

Its basically an old air conditioning system thats big on the hot rod and VW scene!

There like a compartment for some water or something and a sort of blanket thats also wet with water. Then u have a switch on the inside where it sits on the window and it opens a vent for air to go through the front air tunnel and because the blanket is wet or water... cool air breezes in... OLD SKOOL!

I think PC Plod could have something to say about restricted vision if you stuck one of those on your door.

You're right they are quite popular in the vw scene, never understood it myself. You could try and do a cal look mini and add one, although I think a mini would look too small with one!

If that was left on the side of a vehicle during a hot day, surely the water would heat up and the effect would be lost?
