Hi,
I am trying to sort out the electrical problem that is resulting in having no voltage across fuse number one on my '78 Clubbie. In the Haynes manual wiring diagram it says that there may be some line fuses in that circuit.
Does anyone know the physical location of the fuses on the car? I think I may have cracked it, but need to know where to look!
Many thanks,
Ben

the only line fuses I know of or have ever seen after many years of looking are behind the carb. Thats on a 87 city e and 88 city e.

On that year of car I believe the only inlines are behind the carb, as said above. On later cars there are more though.

As above for the fuse locations, however the problem of no power across the top fuse in the main fusebox is unlikely to be caused by the inline fuses. It should be the ignition feeds (white wire) which is more likely to be an ignition switch related issue.

Thanks for those replies. From the wiring diagrams I thought that there were more fuses than the four in the fuse box. I am improvising some wiring to the fuel pump so that she will at least drive to the auto electrician!
