The mrs has been banging on about wanting black leather seats in her mini for a while now, as it will be coming back from the bodyshop within the next few days it's actually given me the push to look for some. We were walking through town the other day and the mrs noticed quite a tidy looking mini, on closer inspection it was a Paul Smith edition and low and behold it had the leather seats in it that she is after. I'm presuming they were standard as the car didn't look modified at all. Now I know from owning jap cars myself that anything limited edition is going to require a mortgage and a lifetime living on beans so please tell me that the same seats came standard on other mini's that weren't limited edition.
Where is my best bet of getting hold of them? i've done a few searches on here and other sites and there doesn't look to be too many of them for sale.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

RobJaxon just for your info Cobra classics in leather £519 a piece!
to be honest vinyl is going to be a much cheaper option and eaier to get hold of, but if its leather you want its either cough up for new or be patient for some to come up at the right money.
Oh and you didnt search hard enough! I just sold a set of John Cooper Leather Recliners on the bay, bit pricey for most people though.

These are in my 1998 MPi, they're actually full leathers from an SPi... full leather... Perhaps that's what she's after...
Just a word of warning - if she is, you'll be looking to remortgage your house to pay for them. they fetch an absolute fortune these days...
Good luck, if you need a hand finding some, PM me

Theres loads of black leather seats that you can fit in a mini! Most mini suppliers sell a lot of different seats, also if have a look on the cobra website, as theres a few different styles they do.

yeah unfortunately, I think I must have upset someone in a previous life to end up here lol. i've showed her the classic cobras and she's not too impressed, where would be the best local mini supplier to try for somthing like what tomsbluemini put up? I'm not massively bothered if they are not real leather I think it's more the style she likes. We use min-its a lot at the minute, he seems very good but the only problem is he's best part of an hours drive away (and the fact every time we go there for somthing cheap like a grill we end up coming back with half a mini and a £500 dent in the bank account lol)

I've got a set of Paul Smith seats in my mini, which were bought from the for sale section on here and I paid £450 for them. You do see the later cooper sets on ebay fairly regular which is your best bet but expect to pay about £700 for a good set.

thinking about it, do mgf seats recline??
They might recline but i don't think they would have a folding back like later sportspacks to allow decent rear access and even with a tipping subframe arrangement probably wouldnt tip far enough. But if 2 seats is all thats needed probably the way to go
