Im rebuilding a Mk1 1967 1275 cooper s. Ive managed to get all the engine and gearbox parts apart from the clutch housing. Its a three synchro box and I believe the only housing that is suitable has part number 22G999. Apparently none of the 4 synchro housings are suitable. Ive been offered two housings which have the small idler gear bearing with part numbers 22A998 and 22A524. I cant find any reference to these numbers in any of the technical data I have been able to find. Anybody got any info that would help?
