Pleeeeeeeeeease! What Is An Eml Warning Light?

The manual is no help whatsoever - does anyone know what this is warning me about??

This must be on a BMW mini, your best bet is to go onto www.mini2.com they are more suited to the BMW mini, this site is for more towards the classic mini.

However, you are welcome here - The EML light is your engine management light, could be a number of things you will need to get the faults read by a coder at a garage.

A quick google search seems to inidcate its some sort of engine fault indicater, and its off to a dealer to have a fault diagnostic computer plugged in to find out which fault it as found..

No need to go and pay dealership rates, most garages have a code reader and will be able to find out whats wrong for a lot less money.

unless it's new enough to be covered by warranty, whereas BMW service all the way.

I think with some, if not all BMW's, they'll come out to you?
