Whats A Good Security System For My Mini 1000?

Hi there Folks,

Firstly I hope that this is in the right section if not i am sorry. I currently have a CAT 2 central locking alarm on my 1982 mini 1000 and i am currently rebuilding the whole car as you do and i was wondering if anyone could reccomend to me a a good security system for my mini (as i obviously want to make it safe)

Has anyone got any ideas?

get an approved one, it will help with the insurance.

I think the best way to make a mini secure is to get megajolt and an electric fuel pump. Its very easy to hotwire a carb'd mini, so putting megajolt on gets rid of all that. The leccy pump is another thing that can be wired into the immobiliser and means even if it does start, it will only get a few yards down the road.
