ill cut the old sills off and then replace them with oversills as they are wider and stonger, but ill use them as normal sills. is it bettter to seemweld or spot? i really want a sorted interior with no holes into the cabin! lolthey aint holdin the car together if thier rotted out

all non original panels have to be seam welded

Nope, if your patching something up then it has to be seam welded. If your replacing a panel like for like then you can use whatever method they used in the factory, whether it be spot welding, seam welding whatever.

Ah I'm glad to hear that!
Just put new floors in mine, theyre seam welded. Then I made up some sills and only inch tacked them on, wasn't sure what Mot man would say.

Fitted the new windows today, and greased them up well... They dont wind at a tilt any more
Heres some pics of the mini in its current state ( lighting is really bad )
Seeing the mini like this has given me some wicked ideas for lighting on the front end... maybe i will carry them through... you'll just have to wait and see
