Basically i want a bit more power from my 998 and something that will stand out a bit at the shows!!
I Have heard that it wont require too much work, i have basic mechanical knowledge.
What kind of modifications will i need to the engine to make it fit?
How much extra power will i be expecting to get?
Any help would be greatly appreciated or a link to a Topic on this subject.
I have tried searching but what i have found seems vague!
Please help!

Its not the simplest of conversion to be honest. There is ALOT of hidden parts that need to be fitted, especially if your going EFI!!

For the gains its well worth the effort, but for "simplicity" you'd be best starting with a 1275 block. Some people just like to be flash *cough* miniboo *cough* :genius:

for flash read slightly mad, however the original conversion was done with an 850 block 998 crank and cooper s rods.

Mad may be more appropriate! lol

It will be (as far as I know) a worlds first 998 block with a K head though! So definitely an acheivement!
