These JVCs are in Huey but to be honest I've never tried them since I can't hear much above the engine.

I have tweeters in my airvents, with the mid range drivers in the doors. Works exceptionally well, especially since the high range frequencies are now physically manually adjustable. You can close the vent and lose more or less all the treble, opening it up gradually increases its presence. It also allows for a certain amount of control over the direction of the speaker, believe it or not this makes a big difference to the overall sound. I'll get some pics when I can

low range freq. subs (tweeters) would be a good idea to put in the airvents, then maybe some subs under the rear seats.

That is quite possibly the most confusing post I have read...
Tweeters are high frequency.
Mids are between subs and tweeters.
Subs are low frequency.
Ideally you need the mids and tweeters in front of you and then the subs in the rear (as there is not enough space up front). So yes, subs under the rear seats are good, but I have no idea what you mean by low range freq subs (tweeters) in the airvents

But back to the original question, as has already been stated, 10cm or 13cm with a bit of modification. Anything bigger will need to either go below the dash or on the doors.
