Calling all Mini Owners!!!

South Devon Mini Club has organised a fun-packed weekend on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June to raise funds for the Precious Lives Appeal of the Children’s Hospice South West.
The Mini Club aim to raise as much money as possible for the ‘Soft Play Area’ of the ‘Precious Lives’ legacy in the new Hospice to open in 2011.
South Devon Mini Club, along with other Mini clubs throughout the area, supports the Children's Hospice South West and has done for a number of years through events such as the North Devon Legendary Grand Tour. This will be the first major event for this club and members are hoping it will become an annual fun filled event for everyone.
The weekend will kick off with Minis joining walkers for the ‘Big South West Walk’ at Mountbatten Pier on Saturday morning, followed by a treasure hunt starting at Yelverton in the afternoon. Saturday will finish with a Barn Dance in the Great Barn at Buckland Abbey, tickets for which are available from £12.50, including food.
On Sunday 15th at Ivybridge Park and Ride there is a fun packed day planned for all Mini nuts and anyone else who wants to come along. The event, supported by MiniMag will feature trade stands, a ‘show and shine’ event, club stands and much more. Ocean Mini of Plymouth have also kindly offered to support the Sunday event but the Mini club are hoping a lot more local businesses will join them in making this weekend a success for the fantastic work done every day by Children's Hospice South West.

Saturday 14th June
 
10:00 Ivybridge Park and Ride meeting point Drive in convoy to Mount Batten Pier to help start
  this section of Children's Hospice South West's
  'Big South West Walk'.

13:00 Ivybridge Park and Ride meeting point Drive to Yelverton on Dartmoor in convoy for the
  Treasure Hunt to start at 14:00. £2.00 per car,
  will last approximately 2 hours.

19:00 Ivybridge Park and Ride meeting point Drive in convoy to Buckland Abbey for Barn Dance,
pasty and cider - to start at 20:00. £12.50 each.



Sunday 15th June
 
10:00 Ivybridge Park and Ride Main event opens at Ivybridge Park and Ride.
  £5.00 per Classic Mini and BMW Mini.
ALL Ivybridge Auto-jumble open all day. Traders welcome to enter
DAY Park and Ride showground from 08:00. £5.00 car / £10.00 van
14:00 Ivybridge Park and Ride Mini 'Show and Shine' to be judged by The Mayor
  of Ivybridge. £5.00 to enter your car.
