Hi, been on the site a couple of days now, so thought it was about time i said Hello.

I've been into minis for about 16 years, had one as a daily driver for about 6 years until the tin worm got it, bought a couple about 2 years ago as a project.

The idea is to build a turbo charged, road legal track car for a bit of weekend fun.

I've added a couple of pics, the first is when i picked the car up and the other couple show it's current state.

Hope you guys do mind giving advice, as you can see i have a way to go yet.

Cheers for the welcome and the positive comments.

Miniman5 - Have to admit i'm quite proud of the brakes, and they fit under 10's

Sprayed the roof tonight, quite pleased with the result, needs sanding back a little and a couple of more coats but not bad for my first attempt on a visable panel. The brakes are off a MK1 fiesta.
