Course it is!

Depending on where you are, you maybe able to get wifi in the area. If not depending on your phone you should be able to plug that into the PC and get to the web that way.

A laptop and one of those USB 'dongles' :D offered by 3, vodafone and all the other mobile phone operators will give you decent internet access even if your not near a hotspot.

Doesn't have to be a laptop though, there's plenty of places selling the miniitx stuff that is popular with carputers and they all come with usb so you could use it with them.

to be honest I think a cheaper way would be to fit a laptop then use an external touchscreen for the control. Either that or sumat like the asus EEE pc.

GPRS if you want 'net on the move, it'd get expensive if you wanted to browse TMF or sites that are more than basic text. With wifi you could get decent 'net access if you can find somewhere to park up in range of a hotspot.
