Has anyone considered using the engine from an st1100 pan european bike., the same as the police spec bike with a v4 engine in,in standard bike trim it starts at 100 bhp, and is renound as a very torquey motor, there are a considerable no of these bikes for sale eithe ex cop or quashed.

Can think of better engines, the 1100's weight a ton and a sport bike engine would be a lot more suited. Also you are in the wrong section on here by the way

i dont think it'd be the weight so much as the size, its a cool engine not much tuning potential though...
