Supercharged MPI running Emerald ECU.

When I pull off a motorway (constant 70-80 MPH) of say 12-25 miles my car goes really stuttery when I try to gently accelerate and almost stalls at idle. If I give it full throttle it stutters then springs into life. The first time it happened I nursed it for 2-3 miles, then stalled it and upon restarting was absolutely fine. Yesterday I kept the engine running and after about 1-2 miles it started running fine again.

Engine now 6 months old, fuel filter changed, original injectors, original fuel pump. Now has a pressure regulator.

Could it be anything to do with engine bay temperature/spark plugs maybe? The coolant temperature is fine and I also have the bonnet open at the back to let heat out.

Cheers.

You might get better luck in the Forced Induction section. Incidentally, there's an uprated inlet manifold on ebay at the moment for a supercharged mini. With quad injectors!

Here

Good luck!

As its a programable ECU it could be any number of things or a combination of things. If its the Emerald, which i think it is, I would be talking to them directly.
