Hey, looking to see if anyone knows where my college can get a full kit car kit for a project as we have finished the coarse work earlier than expected.

Jus whatever you'v got, i will have a look at.

by the way, i cant get on ebay here, buggers have blocked it.

see if you can find a cox gtm, or a gtm coupe, none of the other variations they're C**p!

basically a box, with a mini subframe in the front, and one in the rear holding the engine. with a fibre glass body.

theres a few around when you start looking. . . on . . . dare i say it. . . . ebay!

Its yeeeeeeeeears old and loads of folks I know have actually built cars from it!

we built a lo-cost at college with a kent x-flow engine i put loads of effort into that and no one else on the course seemed to

Fot kit cars i would really be looking at a locost type. Search for 'Tiger' as they have a variety of kits aimed at several budgets, also look at MK , robin hood, and dax. But tiger is your best bet especially the tiger avon as this is a basic kit car that will accept many engines even bike as well as being cheap to make. The garage i work in we were tasked with building a race spec avbon in 2 weeks from start to finish we did it in 12 days so if time is a limiting factor this is the kit for you. Witht he avon you can buy packages with everything included allowing you to just get on with it or u can source parts yourself.
