Escort/Fiesta RST Recaro's have been fitted into loads of mini's, you need to remove the ford runners and make a custom subframe on the seats, apparently quite an esy task if you're good with a welder.
Keep an eye on Ebay though, the odd set comes up for sale ready made

no idea if they'll fit any other recaro's, my mates got fiesta recaros in his and the subframes are different but no idea if the mounting points are the same.
I'd sell the pair for £25 collected.

these are the seats i had in mine, really comfy and nice and low down or you can put some spacers between the runners to raise them a bit more.

If you cant weld it doesnt matter, mine have had subframes made out of aluminium flat bar and bolts, then all you need is a drill!

Iv got a set in my mini, i didnt even have to change the subframes either.. all i had to do was turn the rear feet inwards, remove the front bracket and replace that wiv an L shaped one, ill get pics up later of them in and the fitment, they are weeeell comfy and the back folds flat forward so it makes it easier to get intot the back but they are quite big seats tho.
