Non Metal Roof Attachment?

Just starting my future plans for a mini i have yet to buy and oone of my aims is to get it as light as possible so the first question is-

How do you attach a non metallic roof to a mini?

Yes, carbon fibre roof skins are often used, I'm sure you can get glass fibre ones too. You bond them on.

By bonded what are we talking here? Is it a straight forward resin type affair or is there something more specific?

windscreen sealant would be fine, sikaflex or tigerseal. You can also get 2k sealers, very strong. Try a bodyshop supplier, Upol do a good one.
