pretty sure it will fit under standerd nose i know a u can get a kad engine under one just dont know about the weber carbs

edit: just read mini world , theres a k series engine under a standerd nose , thats what i thought i read was a kad engine, anyway i just looked at the website they sell that raised bonnet so i think it wont fit under a standerd nose.

I'd guess youve probably seen the website ?

http://www.kad-uk.com/16v-engine.htm

on here you can clearly see how the webers protrude forwards quite a lot, and as part of the stage 2 kit it suggests you get a ' GRP 16V Bonnet ' which I would guess is to get over clearance issues.

and you can see the 16v bonnet here clearly has a bulge built into it............bottom of the page

It may well be possible eto get the KAD Gen2 head under a standard round nose, may need to lower the engine in the subframe, but not the Gen1, it deffo needs the bulge bonnet for the cam pullies. Also depends on fueling, EFi wont stick out the front where as webbers will.

Depends which front your talking about I'd say! A boring, common as muck round nose, or a cool, retro, shexy Clubby front. I believe you can get a KAD 16V on Webers under a Clubby front.
